Terms of service

These terms govern your use of FixedFloat (ff-io.io). Read them carefully — by using the FF platform you agree to be bound by them. Last updated: 2026.

1. The service

FixedFloat (the "FF platform", "we", "us") operates an instant non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange at ff-io.io. Using the platform, you can swap one cryptocurrency for another using fixed-rate or float-rate execution modes. The platform does not custody user funds; each exchange is a self-contained transaction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for confirming that you can legally use a non-custodial crypto exchange under your local laws. The FF platform may restrict access from jurisdictions where the service is not legally permitted.

3. Order creation and execution

By creating an exchange you authorise the FF platform to receive your deposit and broadcast the corresponding payout to the destination address you provided. The rate, fee and minimum/maximum amounts are displayed in the widget at the time of order creation. Once you confirm the order, those terms are binding.

3.1 Fixed-rate orders

The output amount is locked at order creation. You receive the locked amount as long as the deposit arrives within the rate window (typically 60 minutes from order creation) and matches the expected amount.

3.2 Float-rate orders

The output amount is recalculated at the moment of payout using the live aggregated mid-market price. The platform fee is applied on top.

4. Deposit timing

If a fixed-rate deposit arrives outside the rate window, the FF platform may either (a) re-quote the order at the current market rate or (b) offer a refund-to-source. The user can choose which path to take inside the order page.

5. User responsibilities

  • You confirm that the destination address you provide is correct, that the chain matches, and that you control the wallet.
  • You confirm that the source of your funds is lawful in your jurisdiction.
  • You confirm that you are not on a sanctioned-persons list maintained by the OFAC, the EU or the UN.
  • You acknowledge that on-chain transactions are irreversible.

6. Compliance

FixedFloat reserves the right to pause an order, request additional information from the depositor, or refuse service if the deposit address is flagged as high-risk by industry blockchain analytics. See the AML/KYC policy for details.

7. Fees

The FF platform charges a swap fee starting from 0.5% per exchange, plus the on-chain network fee for the asset you receive. The current fee is shown in the widget before order confirmation. See the fees page.

8. Refunds

If an order cannot be processed (deposit out of bounds, deposit network congestion beyond the rate window, AML pause, etc.), the FF platform offers a refund-to-source flow. The user provides a refund address and FF returns the original asset minus the on-chain network fee.

9. Disclaimers

The FF platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and can be subject to extreme price moves. The FixedFloat exchange does not provide financial advice and is not registered as an investment broker.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FixedFloat is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost opportunities or losses arising from market movements, third-party software issues or user-side errors (including sending funds to the wrong address or using the wrong chain).

11. Intellectual property

The FixedFloat trademark, the FF logo, the platform code and the visual design are owned by FixedFloat. Affiliate partners may use approved brand assets in accordance with the affiliate guidelines.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access for users who violate these terms, attempt to defraud the platform, or use the service in connection with illegal activity. Termination does not affect already-completed orders.

13. Changes

FixedFloat may update these terms over time. The current version always lives at this URL with a "last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after a change indicates acceptance.
