Transparent fees on FixedFloat
FixedFloat fees are predictable, public and built into the rate you see before you confirm. There are no hidden spreads, no idle-balance charges and no withdrawal taxes on the FF platform.
From 0.5% per swap
The fixed-rate fee includes the FixedFloat platform fee and the volatility hedge that lets us guarantee the price during the on-chain confirmation window. The exact percentage depends on the pair — major pairs like BTC↔ETH sit close to 0.5%, exotic pairs go up to 1%.
0% spread + 0.5% platform fee
Float-rate orders use the live aggregated mid-market price at payout. The only deduction is the FixedFloat platform fee, plus the network fee on the receive side. Best choice when both legs settle quickly.

How FixedFloat fees compare
The crypto exchange world is full of opaque pricing — wide spreads, surprise withdrawal fees and quoted prices that change at confirmation. FixedFloat takes a different approach: everything is in the rate. The number you see in the widget is the number you receive. No further deductions, no surprises.
Why does FF charge a fixed-rate spread?
Because we take volatility risk on your behalf. When you create a fixed-rate exchange on ff-io.io, the platform commits to a number that may not match the market price 30 minutes later when your deposit confirms. To absorb that risk, the engine adds a small spread that historically averages between 0.3% and 0.7% depending on pair volatility. On float orders, this risk is yours, so the spread is removed.
Network fees
The on-chain network fee is paid to miners or validators of the receive-chain — not to FixedFloat. The platform shows the current estimated fee in the widget. For Bitcoin, the fee depends on mempool congestion; for Ethereum it depends on gas price; for TRC-20 USDT it is essentially zero.
What is NOT charged
- No registration fees
- No idle-balance fees (because the FF platform never holds your funds)
- No withdrawal fees beyond the on-chain network fee
- No deposit fees
- No KYC fees
