About FixedFloat — the FF platform powering instant crypto swaps
FixedFloat (also known as fix float, ffio or simply FF) has been a quiet workhorse of the crypto exchange world since 2018. From a single trading pair to 100+ supported assets, our mission has stayed the same: make crypto-to-crypto exchange instant, predictable and free of unnecessary friction.
Our mission
We believe a cryptocurrency exchange should do exactly what its name promises — exchange — and nothing more. No mandatory accounts, no fiat onboarding queues, no inactive-balance fees. The FixedFloat platform was created in 2018 with this simple philosophy and operates the same way at ff-io.io today.
Why "fixed" and "float"?
The name FixedFloat reflects the two execution modes pioneered by the platform: fixed-rate swaps where the price is locked in advance, and float-rate swaps where the output is recalculated at the moment of payout. Combining both modes in a single non-custodial workflow was new at the time the platform launched, and it remains a defining feature of the FF platform today.
What makes the FF platform different
- Hot-wallet liquidity. Pre-funded balances on every supported network mean instant payouts without order books.
- Direct on-chain settlement. Every output you receive is broadcast to the public blockchain; you can verify it on any block explorer.
- Non-custodial flow. The platform does not custody user balances. Each exchange is a self-contained transaction.
- Privacy by default. Standard pairs require zero personal data.
- 24/7 multilingual support. Real human specialists across the globe.
Our values
We measure ourselves on four metrics: speed (how quickly your output arrives), reliability (how often the engine succeeds without manual intervention), transparency (how clearly fees and rates are disclosed before you press exchange), and privacy (how little data we keep about your activity). Every product decision at FixedFloat is filtered through these four lenses.
Where the FF platform is going
FixedFloat is constantly adding new chains, new tokens and new partner integrations. Recent additions include support for additional Layer-2 networks, expanded stablecoin coverage and broader API endpoints for third-party wallets and Telegram bots. Our public roadmap is updated quarterly on the FixedFloat blog.
FixedFloat in the United States
The US is one of our largest markets. Our American users rely on ff-io.io for instant BTC↔ETH and BTC↔USDT swaps, for cross-chain stablecoin moves, and for occasional rebalances out of hardware wallets. The platform is fully accessible to US-based traffic, and our English-speaking support team operates around the clock to assist American users with any question.
